Tourist in my own city
Hey, Folks! If you know me then you know I love to travel, right? I have quite a few destinations I really want to see and a lot of plans in my mind. Well, yesterday I had the brilliant idea of being a tourist in my own city. Around 3 o’clock I received a message from an old friend which sounded like this ” Hey, wanna take a walk later on?” I didn’t see her in more than one year so I didn’t think too much before accepting.
Iulia lives in Bicester, city which is about an hour drive from where I live so as soon as she got here we got our smiles ready, purses, and phones in our pockets and quickly started walking towards the city centre ( horrible traffic, what can you do? ). She’s only been here once before so I was more than happy to show her around and also took advantage to discover my own city over again.
After long talks and laughs, we decided to snap some pictures as well, I took her to a few nice locations I wanted to take pictures since I moved here but somehow never got the chance and we started the fun. My outfit was pretty simple. Why? Because the British weather was playing games like always and it wasn’t too warm either (same old, same old ). The beige trench is a must for me, I just think it looks very effortless and stylish at the same time, I have this one from a charity shop for only £2 ( can you believe it? ) and wore it with a tight tank top underneath.
The trousers are from TOPSHOP, bought last year and couldn’t feel more comfortable wearing them. They are also high-waisted and black so what more could you ask for? The floral ankle boots ( hello cuties ) are from Public Desire and can be found HERE. As much as I absolutely love them I have to tell you. DO NOT under any circumstances take these for a long full day walk. That is a definitely NO NO. Why? In the beginning, they look and feel great but after a couple hours of walking your legs will start hurting on the edges.
Ieri am avut minunata idee de a fii turist in propriul meu oras.
Nici nu e de mirare, mi se pare foarte effortless & chic in the same time.
