I know, I know I’ve been away for a few days again and I am really sorry but here I am now with a brand new article for you guys. Did you ever heard the expression ” Instagram took over my life?” well that is pretty much what has happened in the past two weeks. Since I arrived in England I always wished to visit a few of the main and more important cities in this beautiful country, cities like London, Oxford, Cambridge, etc. I am not quite there yet but I am taking baby steps and going in the right direction.

Today we’re going to talk about Oxford. Its beauty, architecture, and more than anything the vibe this city has are something I personally did not experience anywhere else ( sorry London ). Now you will say ” Oh, you were saying London is the best” well it is, London is always going to be one of my soul cities but I am really impressed with Oxford as well.

My day started really good. Iulia came to pick me up before driving off to Oxford. The weather was amazing. It was warm ( Still shocked…), the natural light was amazing. the sun was shining and we had the opportunity to finally wear summer-appropriate clothes (haha). My outfit was pretty simple, a pair of ripped Topshop jeans and an M&S oversized white shirt. The shirt is size 16, which is the size I had to buy in order to be able to wear it off the shoulders but I guess it depends on your body shape as well.

I was extremely impressed by the way Oxford University looks. Its buildings are so beautiful and well conservated and everywhere I looked I spotted people riding their bicycles. Oxford is one of those cities where people prefer to get the bike instead of the car, I am pretty sure a lot of these people are students but this is one of the beauties of the city. If you ever find yourself in Oxford you cannot miss spotting one of the red double-decker buses so famous all over the world and also one of the most well-known British symbols.

We had a pretty long walk around the city, I filmed a lot for my upcoming vlog, got attacked by gooses and saw a street artist which was extremely talented. Right before heading off to Oxford Channel we met an Oxford student who was studying Mathematics there who was extremely passioned about the different accents and types of words pronunciations from every area in England. We had a little chat with him before continuing our small trip.

The day passed extremely fast, the experience was short but intense and personally, I wasn’t able to keep my phone or camera off for a long time since everywhere I was looking was something which had to be photographed. A small tip for you guys, no matter where you going, take as many pictures as you can since you will be so happy to look at them over the years and remember everything. TRAVEL. CAPTURE. Ati auzit vreodata expresia ” Instagram took over my life” paiii mda, cam asta s-a intamplat in ultimele doua saptamani. De cand am ajuns in Anglia mi-am dorit sa ajung sa vizitez diferitele locatii si orase mai cunoscute cum ar fi Londra, Oxofrd, Cambridge, etc. Inca nu am ajuns la stadiul in care sa ajung chiar peste tot pe unde imi doream insa ma indrept cu pasi mici in directia buna.

Astazi vom vorbii despre Oxford.

TRAVEL. CAPTURE. SHARE.
